Cx32 Formation and / or Cx32-Mediated Intercellular Communication Induces Expression and Function of Tight Junctions in Hepatocytic Cell Line

Cx32, colocalizes with tight junction proteins ZO-1 and ZO-2 in rat hepatocytes, and small gap junction plaques were found within tight junction strands.
It was suggested that Cx32 can participate in the formation of functional tight junctions and in actin organization.
