SmgGDS (so-called RAP1GDS1) is a regulator having 2 activities on the Rho and Rap1 family members and Ki-Ras; one is to stimulate their GDP/GTP exchange reactions (GEF activity), and the other is to inhibit their interactions with membranes.
RAP1GDS1 bound with KAP3 also activates RhoA
