CrkL suppression resulted in a significant decrease in cytotoxicity against P815 tumor targets coated with either anti-NKG2D or anti-FcR, and against MICA-expressing BaF3 cells.
But at the same time,CrkL was shown to be phosphorylated in an Abl-dependent manner upon ligation of inhibitory killer Ig-related receptors (KIRs) to terminate signaling from activating receptors.
