Integrin ??2??1 is a heterodimeric adhesive protein receptor belonging to the ??1 subfamily. It serves as a collagen receptor on fibroblasts and platelets and additionally as a laminin receptor on epithelial and endothelial cells
Collagen signaling nduces NF-??B Activity in fibroblasts probably via this receptor
